Mythic Bastionland for Foundry VTT
An unofficial system for Mythic Bastionland by Chris McDowall, made with his permission. Knights, Myths and a Realm to wander, set up the way the book runs them.
You need the rulebook PDF. The system reads your own copy of the PDF, locally in your browser. That gives you every Knight, Seer and Myth, the Spark Tables, the portraits and the compendiums. Without the PDF you get empty sheets and a blank map. Buy the book.
For Players
- Knight sheet laid out like the printed sheet. Click a Virtue to Save, Rank follows Glory, and hovering a rule word shows what the book says about it.
- New Knight rolls Virtues and GD and picks one of the 72 Knights. It fills in the whole sheet: portrait, Seer, Property, Ability, Passion and table. You can add a Squire and a Steed.
- Heraldry painter with 215 charges and a Randomize button that follows the rule of tincture. The shield shows on the Knight's Token.
- Attack cards follow the book's steps: Deny, Gambits, Armour, then GD, then VIG, then Scars. Duels and jousts are included.
For GMs
- GM Toolkit (press C): Myths and Omens, every Place you've visited, Seasons and Crisis Rolls, and notes.
- New Realm rolls a whole Realm onto a Scene: terrain, a river, Holdings, Myths, Landmarks and Barriers. You can also draw it by hand, or import a map drawn on paper.
- Travel and Exploration rules sit beside the map, with buttons for the Wilderness Roll, weather and hardships. A single Company Token moves the whole party.
- A Phase, Season and Age bar, with the book's feasts, Tax, Tithe and Levy, and the end-of-session steps.
- Sheets for NPCs, Warbands, Structures and Domains. The NPC sheet can paste a stat block from your PDF. Sites maps are revealed to players as the Company explores them.
- A Rulebook reader (press B). Every "(p16)" in the system opens your PDF at that page.
Works with Dice So Nice!, Sequencer + JB2A, SoundFx Library and FXMaster. None of them are required.
