Mountaineering is a dangerous business. Between the threat of a landslide or an avalanche, the weather, and the high-risk topography, the danger never subsides, not even more a moment. Of course, there are safe and easy mountains to climb, but such places are rarely home to the most interesting things in the world. No, only in the most dangerous mountains will one find the greatest secrets awaiting discovery.
This is indeed the case for Kyaverite Mountain, though it’s amplified a hundredfold compared to an ordinary place. The mountain is home to one of—if not the—largest quantities of kyaverite in the region. The mountain’s inhabitants are more dangerous than normal beasts; even something as small and innocent as a chinchilla becomes a dire threat, devouring grown men to the bone in mere hours.
Alas, sometimes, when adventure calls, it is impossible to ignore. Answers to questions can begin to unfold on Kyaverite Mountain; however, those answers will likely bring more questions in their wake. Adventurers will need to take their chances and climb to the mountaintop in their quest to uncover the mysteries of kyaverite.
