The module corrects the foundry beam pattern to match the line examples from the pf2e rules. When the pattern is drawn from a corner, additional cells are often coloured in. In other situations, even when the aforementioned problem does not occur, the wrong squares are often coloured in compared to the examples. The correction is achieved by applying the Bresenham’s line algorithm. As a result, 5-foot rays begin to trace precise lines. It has been tested and confirmed to work only with 5-foot rays.
On Foundry v14 the pf2e system draws effect areas as regions and highlights the cells they cover. The line has the same problem there, and the module fixes it in the same way. Until the pf2e system corrects its own region highlighting, the module temporarily also fixes the region areas such as the circle and the cone so their cells follow the rules.
