Here's a little something for folks who wanted some more granularity with the ammo types!
So far, there's a whole bunch of ammo types - light rounds, medium rounds, heavy rounds, bolts, cards, darts, rail slugs, micro missiles, and shells. I've also got plans to add battery and chem tank variants down the line as well!
Once you have the module installed, just pop open the Module Settings and click "Manage Ammo Types" - from there you can either hit one button to assign all the custom ammo types to their weapons automatically, or you can get granular and set each weapon individually if you've got specific preferences. Way better than clicking through every single weapon manually like we used to have to do!
The custom ammo types are easy to spot - they all start with "GB's" so you know which ones are from this module.
While there's not functionality yet to make brand new ammo types within the module itself, if you go into the included compendium and add those ammo items to your game, and duplicate them, you can then change the names of that ammo to be whatever you want it to be! With this, you'll have even more custom ammo options to play around with!
Future plans include better integration with area fire/auto fire mechanics, in addition to possibly adding some variant chem tanks and batteries. Some day! (fingers crossed haha)
DISCLOSURE: I did add in a couple icons that otherwise were missing from the sf2e module that I could repurpose, so there are icons for cards, bolts, and darts. I did use gemini to make them as placeholders, but I am hoping to get in contact with whoever made the awesome icons that are currently in sf2e anachronism so I can commission them to make proper icons!!
