True to the tradition of the DW series of PF2e modules for Foundry VTT (DW1 A Mission of Diplomacy, DW2 Murders in the Narrows and DW3 Beyond the Grave), this module is a variation upon classic folklore and features 74 custom creatures, hazards, effects and items that may be encountered while exploring 16 outdoor and underground mountainous scenes. During their adventure, the PCs may help a village recover from a violent attack, battle the mountain's most dangerous denizens, discover the rich culture of a reclusive non-human tribe, engage in a silent debate and delve through the lava tunnels of an extinct volcano to close a breach in space leading to an alien world. The action is brought to life with custom sounds, maps created in Dungeon Alchemist and scene-setting 3D images to accompany flavour text descriptions. Numerous macros create audio-visual trap effects, change token appearances and chart progress through a regional map.
