The Catacombs Map Tiles pack is a digital art asset collection designed to empower Game Masters and world-builders with everything they need to craft richly detailed fantasy virtual tabletop adventure maps. Each map tile represents a 5-foot square of terrain, rendered at a scale that depicts each real-world inch as three on-screen pixels. When assembled - block by block - Game Masters can construct sprawling underground labyrinths, ancient crypts, monster-infested corridors and eerie catacomb complexes that fit seamlessly into your tabletop roleplaying sessions.
Drawing on photographic material blended with hand-drawn artwork, the art assets of the Catacombs Map Tiles pack carry a distinctive aesthetic that gives depth and personality to every dungeon floor and stone-worn wall you place on your adventure map canvas. By using Foundry's in-app tool set, Game Masters can build virtual tabletop adventure maps inside Foundry. Larger, more complex adventure maps can be created by importing the art assets into graphics editing programs such as Photoshop, GIMP, or Clip Studio Paint. Once created, the completed adventure map can be imported back into Foundry to apply Foundry's dynamic lighting data points.
- Modular Interchangeable Design: The walls and Floors consist of separate elements that can be mixed and matched with map tiles from other sets to create endless combinations of layouts tailored to your campaign.
- Unique Artwork: Each map tile is a combination of original photographic source material, combined with hand-drawn artwork. Providing each dungeon crawl with a unique visual feast. Each map tile represents a 5ft area of terrain, depicting each real-world inch as three on-screen pixels. Providing us with a 5ft map grid square that measures 180 pixels in size.
- Easy Setup & Building Method: Using Foundry's in-app tool set, set up a blank scene and configure the map grid scale to match 180 pixels in size. Then seamlessly assemble your hellish landscapes like LEGO - block by block - placing down floor tiles, then walls, and then feature objects. For large complex adventure maps, import the art assets into an external graphics editor, then import the completed map into Foundry to add dynamic lighting data for your adventure.
The art assets from the Catacombs Map Tiles pack integrate smoothly with other packs in the Studio WyldFurr Map Tiles range for an unlimited world-building toolkit. This package brings both flexibility and atmosphere to your adventure map-making process.
