Reputation, Faction by Faction

Bondsmith tracks reputation, factions, and relationships across your campaign. Every character holds their own standing with each faction and NPC, so the party that travels together is rarely seen the same way.

Reputation That Belongs to the Character

The rogue can be celebrated by the thieves' guild while the paladin is barred from every guildhall in the city.

Bondsmith tracks reputation separately for each character, faction, and NPC. Define your own tiers with names, colors, and score ranges to fit the setting, whether you call them Favor and Infamy or something of your own.

Adjust a standing with a slider, or type an exact value when you need one.

Build Out Factions

Create guilds, governments, noble houses, and cults. Assign members and define ranks, and link a faction to real Foundry actors so the roster stays in sync as the campaign changes.

Map Your World

Model locations as a hierarchy, from continents down to single settlements and points of interest. Give each one a controlling faction, and reorganize the tree by dragging items in the navigator.

See the Connections

Track alliances, rivalries, family ties, debts, and loyalties between actors, factions, and locations.

View the web as a force-directed graph, a genealogy tree, a map, or a timeline. Each view has its own permission controls, so you decide what players can open.

Bring Relationships to the Canvas

Flag a scene as a relationship board and Bondsmith draws the connections between tokens right on the canvas. The lines follow your tier styling, badges show standing at a glance, and the Arrange Tokens tool lays everything out by faction, relation, or location.

Let Reputation Drift

Set reputation to move toward a target value on a schedule, globally or per entity. Old favors fade and old scandals get forgotten, unless you leave a standing fixed and decide for yourself when it changes.

Control What Players Know

Hide an entity outright, conceal just its score so players see only the tier name, swap in an alias, or restrict a single relationship for specific players. One dialog handles every visibility control for an entity.

Automate the Bookkeeping

Trigger reputation changes from Foundry events, with presets for the common ones. Every change lands in a per-entity history log with timestamps, attribution, and notes, so you can see how a relationship got where it is. Import and export data between worlds when you need to.

Built for Story-Driven Campaigns

Political intrigue, faction warfare, kingdom management, or a slow character study: Bondsmith turns relationships from scattered notes into something the game keeps track of for you.

The world remembers what the characters did, and it remembers each of them differently.
