Armour Astir: Advent (Armor Astir)
A full character-sheet and mechanics implementation of Armor Astir: Advent — a mecha-and-politics Powered by the Apocalypse TRPG — built on top of the pbta system (requires pbta 1.1.15+; Foundry v12 minimum, verified through v14).
Playbook actors
Drag any of the sixteen basic playbooks — Adrift, Advocate, Arcanist, Artificer, Attendant, Commander, Diplomat, Icon, Impostor, Paradigm, Revenant, Scout, Summoner, The Captain, Witch, Wither — out of the bundled compendium and get a ready-to-play character: traits, starting moves, starting gear, and playbook-specific mechanics all pre-populated.
200+ automated moves
Basic Moves, Special Moves, every playbook's move pool (plus the universal Cantrips and Soldier Moves pools), and the Astir Moves catalog all run through one shared roll pipeline: tier-based 2d6 rolls with Advantage/Disadvantage and Confidence/Desperation Effect sliders, automatic 10+/7-9/6-/12+ result branching, hold and spend economies, guided rerolls, and automatic-success/downgrade offers that can retroactively flip an already-posted roll — including cross-actor spends like the Icon's Bardic Inspiration.
Astirs & Ardents
Pilotable mecha frames. An Astir is a Tier 3–4 mech with a Power pool, Overheating, a unique Astir Move, and up to two installed Parts (plus uncapped Extra Parts for the Sortie) drawn from an 18-entry Parts catalog and 36-entry weapon catalog. Ardents are cheaper, more numerous secondary frames a character can stockpile without limit — though only one frame, Astir or Ardent, can be mounted at a time.
Equipment
A snapshot-on-pick catalog with a tag system (Blitz, Defensive, Drain, Impact, the five Approach tags, and more) that can be spent from the roll dialog to shift Effect, plus a points budget for homebrew gear that doesn't come from the catalog.
Clocks & Gravity
Freeform narrative clocks available on every character's Social tab, plus a distinct Gravity Clock mechanic tied to each playbook's Gravity Trigger that can substitute for a move's normal trait.
Downtime Scene Reference
The seven Downtime Scene Kinds, available as an in-sheet lookup dialog or postable straight to the chat log so the whole table can see it.
World actors
Dedicated sheets beyond the player character: the Carrier (the party's mobile base, with its own built-in weapon slots that resolve exactly like a character's own weapons), the Authority (the empire, with a Stability track and exactly three Divisions each holding three Pillars), the Cause (the resistance, with Factions and Wayward Factions tracked by Grip), and a lightweight NPC actor for Tier/Approach comparisons.
Reflavor System
GMs can upload a JSON file that reskins move, equipment, tag, and Astir/Ardent text across the entire module — for a harder sci-fi tone, a different genre, or a homebrew setting — without touching any underlying mechanics.
