What's in this pack?

This bundle pack includes grid and gridless 40x30 maps with day, night, cleaved, overflow, greyscale, and animated variants. The steps keep descending deeper and deeper into the broken earth, the walls and humidity growing warmer, and then hotter, until the air becomes gradually more oppressive and the steps open up into a network of corridors. Some of the doors that are seen are locked, but if opened enter into arcane, torturous chambers in which lurk all manner of dark creatures. The corridors lead here and there, with steps and a trapdoor leading down further, but at the end of one passage an opening leads down steps and into the searing heat of a foul platform over bubbling, lava-like liquids, and a portal in which swirls flames and dark tendrils of energy.

Encounter Hook

Rumbling over the hellscape moans and chattering that flicks at the dark corners of this searing hot network of corridors and chambers, a single scream rises, and keeps rising until the party might begin to wonder when a pause for breath might be taken. Something is coming, and evidently the origin of that something is a swirling portal at the edge of the corridors, a portal tethered to the hells beyond.
