What's in this pack?
This bundle pack includes grid and gridless 40x30 maps with day, night, temple, greyscale, and animated variants. Birds chirp happily in the colourful cherry blossom and maple trees, this captivating noise heard only barely over the noise of a powerful waterfall that surges into a river beneath an aged wooden sori bashi. The trunk of a large felled tree breaks the course of the river that begins its journey deeper into the forest, whilst here on the banks grows a myriad of wild flora relaxing in the soft breeze, the first signs of the fall approaching. A beautiful setting in which nothing life-threatening could happen, right?...
Encounter Hook
As the party crosses the old bridge, a scream is heard, as thrashing around in the waters below, is spotted a young boy. He is clearly distressed, as he struggles to remain afloat while the waterfall crashes over him. The boy yells for help. A simple rescue might be called for, but the more perceptive in the party might spot dark shapes approaching just beneath the surface of the water, and a flash of steel might glint off the sunlight on both banks. This rescue might get interesting.
