Stream live scenes from SoundPainter.io directly into your Foundry VTT game.
SoundPainter is a spatial audio tool for GMs. Build layered ambient soundscapes and manipulate them in real time, broadcast them to your players with one click. This module receives that broadcast and plays it for every connected player with independent volume control.
Instead of browsing pre-made scenes and running a sound board, type what you want to hear, drag sounds around a 2D board, and position a listener token so the mix shifts as the scene changes. Every sample in the 600,000-sound library is copyright-clear and copyright free, safe for session recordings, actual play podcasts, and streams. One click broadcasts your live audio to every connected player.
There are also many common environments you may encounter to choose from which can be previewed and dropped in on the fly during your sessions.

Setup:
1. Install and enable the module in your Foundry world
2. In SoundPainter.io, start a broadcast and click "Set Up Foundry VTT" to copy your API token
3. In Foundry: Game Settings > Configure Settings > SoundPainter.io Conductor > paste the token
4. Start broadcasting from SoundPainter, audio plays for every connected player automatically
Requirements:
- Foundry VTT v12 or newer (verified on v14)
- Chromium-based browser for audio playback (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera)
