The Seven Spires rise like jagged teeth from the mountain’s crown, each a colossal stone pillar reaching almost into the clouds. The rocks and stones on them seem to come loose very easily...too easily. Perhaps it's the winds, rain, and heat that are causing them to crumble....but perhaps someone has struck at them, weakening their grip. Winds howl between them, and the climb itself is as perilous as any battle.

“We saw them first through the morning fog, seven pillars of stone rising higher than any tree or tower. Their crowns vanished into cloud, their sides sheer and scarred with wind. Undoubtedly these must be the legendary...
The path up through the narrow cliffside was cruel. Steps carved into the rock’s side clung to the stone like a scar, narrow enough that one misstep meant a long fall to nothing. Our boots scraped against ages of moss and lichen, our fingers raw from clinging to the warm stone. On top of all that, we had fallen prey to an ambush of harpy-bandits. But finally, after days we reached them.
Ahead of us, the spires laid bear in the summer sun. They were worshipped by local tribes as the Seven Sons of Aoulqet, the great God of the giant-folk, who turned his sons to stone after they disobeyed him.
Each spire bore its own character, some smaller, others bigger. Some more jagged than the rest, some more treacherous...if we mean to pass to the other side, we better concentrate, and keep our wits about us..
