Tired of enabling and disabling modules every time you switch between playing, preparing sessions or troubleshooting problems in Foundry?

Module Loadouts lets you save different module configurations and switch between them whenever you need. Whether you want a complete setup for game night, a smaller selection for preparation or a minimal setup for testing, the module makes managing your configurations much easier.

Custom Module Loadouts

Save your currently enabled modules as named loadouts. Create different configurations for playing, preparing sessions or testing without having to select everything manually each time.

Save Module Settings

Include module world settings in your loadouts so you can restore an entire configuration or apply your preferred setup to another world.

Preview Changes

See exactly which modules will be enabled or disabled before applying a loadout. The preview also shows missing modules, changed settings and modules that have been updated since the loadout was saved.

Automatic Backups

Before switching loadouts, the module automatically saves your current configuration and settings. If something goes wrong or you change your mind, you can easily restore your previous setup.

Startup Checks

After restarting Foundry, the module checks whether the selected loadout started correctly. If modules fail to load or cause errors, you can restore your previous configuration.

Module Troubleshooting

Use the Bug Hunt feature to identify modules that may be causing problems. It gradually disables groups of modules between restarts and checks for errors to help narrow down the cause. Your original configuration is restored afterward.

Pinned Modules

Keep important modules enabled or disabled regardless of which loadout you select. Pinned modules remain unchanged when switching configurations.

Dependency Management

Required dependencies are automatically enabled when applying a loadout. If something important is missing, the module warns you before making changes and provides links to the missing packages.

World and Installation Loadouts

Create loadouts for individual worlds or make them available across your entire Foundry installation, including different worlds, gamemasters and browsers.

Loadout Management

Organize your configurations using names, descriptions and tags. Duplicate existing loadouts, search through saved setups or export and import them as JSON files.

How It Works

Enable the module in your world and open Foundry's Manage Modules window. Click the layers icon to access the loadout manager.

Save your current configuration as a new loadout and choose whether to include its settings. Whenever you want to switch setups, simply select another loadout and apply it.

You can also access the manager through the module settings or use a hotbar macro to switch configurations.

Compatibility

Supports Foundry VTT v13 and v14 and works with any game system. The module is available in English and German.
