Remote Action
Remote Action allows you to relay D&D5e actions from one client to a designated primary receiver client.
The module is designed for setups where a player uses their character sheet on a phone or tablet, while the actual action is executed on another screen, such as a TV or a central game display.
What the module does
With this module, you can for example:
- trigger an attack or action from a player character sheet
- automatically relay that action to a primary receiver client
- choose which users are allowed to act as senders
- define which user acts as the primary receiver
- keep a consistent D&D5e workflow on the client that actually resolves the action
It is a simple solution for separating the client that triggers an action from the client that resolves it.
Quick setup
Configuration is done through the module settings, with a dedicated user configuration submenu.
You can define:
- the primary receiver
- the authorized senders
- automatic interception of item use from the actor sheet
- whether Foundry rolls should be used for:
- attacks
- damage
- saving throws
In play
Once configured, the module allows a player to trigger an action from their sheet while the actual resolution happens on the receiver client.
This is especially useful for setups with:
- a player sheet on a phone or tablet
- action execution on a TV or central display
- a cleaner workflow for tables that separate the player interface from the main resolution screen
Main features
- relay D&D5e actions between clients
- define a primary receiver
- manage authorized senders
- intercept item use from the actor sheet
- support attack, damage, and saving throw workflows
- dedicated user configuration submenu
- debug mode for troubleshooting
- French and English localization
Requirements
- D&D5e
- socketlib (required)

Remote Action
Pré-requis
- D&D5e
- socketlib (obligatoire)
