Unofficial system for Rangers of Shadow Deep – Deluxe Edition (Joseph A. McCullough). Compatible with Foundry VTT v13 and v14. You still need the rulebooks: all descriptions here are short summaries.
Contents
- Ranger (hero): split stats (base / effective), 15 skills, Heroic Abilities and spells as drop-down lists, six item slots, status, recruitment, levels and XP.
- Companion: one-click profiles for every companion in the books, gear, advancement.
- Creature: bestiary profiles with traits (undead, poison, disease, partial immunity…) and a reminder of creature behaviour.
- Supplements (Blood Moon, Temple of Madness, Ghost Stone, Incinerator, Menagerie, Across the Wastes, Ashen Sky, Tenebrous Citadel, A Gathering of Heroes): 30 creatures, 47 companions, 6 spells, 8 Heroic Abilities, 46 traits, 40 limitations, 10 archetypes and 144 items. Drop-down lists show the source book and the importer sorts actors into a folder per book.
- Archetypes: pick one on the ranger's Campaign tab and click "Apply archetype" to set the stat-line, starting skills, Recruitment Points, traits and limitations.
- Editable icons (PNG or JPEG): click the portrait, the emblem at the top right, or the icon of any ability or spell. Right click an icon to restore the default.
- PDF export: a PDF button in the title bar of every sheet. The sheet downloads as A4, portrait included.
- Items: an "Item" document type (category, slots, quantity, magic, description). Drag items onto a sheet from the Items tab, a compendium or another sheet. Between two sheets the item is moved (hold Ctrl to copy). Identical non-magic items stack. Slots are counted (six for a ranger, two items for a companion) and animals refuse items.
- Item import: the "Import the ROSD items" button on the Items tab (GM only) creates 216 items in eight folders.
- Automatic bonuses: worn armour and items, and the wielded weapon, add their bonuses to the stats (the "Items" line under Mod.). The wielded weapon's damage is used in attacks.
- Dice engine: skill and stat rolls with a Target Number, opposed melee and shooting rolls with support, cover, criticals and damage breakdown, spells with resistance rolls and healing, Survival Table and Permanent Injuries. Chat-card buttons cover Hand of Fate, Deadly Strike/Shot, Parry, Powerful Blow, Roll with the Punch, Inner Strength, wizard's staff and item properties.
- Dice So Nice: the hero's d20 uses a colour of your choice (default dark blue); creatures keep the native appearance.
