Adventurer’s Cards, formerly Quest Viewer, brings readable quest cards and handy rules references to Foundry VTT. GMs can select multiple source decks, automatically display cards dealt to player-owned Hands, and optionally post their text to chat. Players can reopen cards with View Card and flip between front and back text, with no artwork required.
The built-in Card Creator lets GMs write quests with objectives, rewards, optional headings, and font choices. Players can track Active, Completed, or Failed status, check off objectives, and keep shared notes on their Hand copies. Source-deck edits update matching Hand cards while preserving player progress.
For D&D Fifth Edition, GMs can add currency, drag in items, and create custom boon rewards, then choose recipients and review the distribution before handing them out to character sheets. Distribution history helps prevent accidental duplicate payouts. Custom boons become descriptive features without automatically applying mechanical effects.
GMs can also show cards to selected connected players and choose specific cards to deal from a deck. A parchment-style viewer and optional quest emblem give quest cards a consistent appearance while preserving custom artwork.
An optional shared deck includes 40 reference cards covering D&D’s 2024 conditions, actions, movement, and combat rules, with individual icons and readable rules summaries.
