Please, Give Me a Name! is a system-agnostic fantasy name generator for Foundry Virtual Tabletop, designed to help Game Masters and players quickly create names without interrupting the game.
The module generates first names, surnames, nicknames, epithets, and clan names for 18 playable fantasy races. It also creates names for dragons, trolls, giants, fey, demons, aberrations, elementals, spirits, undead, aquatic creatures, and several specialized monster subtypes. Users can customize results through filters such as race, gender, name composition, creature family, subtype, name length, and tone.
The module includes separate name pools for English and Brazilian Portuguese, a compact responsive interface, configurable race availability, and millions of possible name combinations. It does not depend on any particular game system or campaign setting.
The generator can be opened from Module Settings, the Token scene controls, or through its public macro API: game.modules.get("please-give-me-a-name").api.open();
