Party Operations
Campaign Logistics, Marching Structure, Readiness, and Operational Pressure for Foundry VTT
GitHub | Releases | Documentation | Roadmap
Overview
Party Operations centralizes campaign logistics and operational play into a single structured interface inside Foundry VTT. It is built for groups that want stronger travel procedure, party organization, watch structure, resource awareness, and campaign pressure without turning the table into a rigid automation engine.
Built for expedition play, survival pressure, organized parties, and GMs who want cleaner campaign control with better player-facing outputs.
Core Systems
Rest Watch Management
Assign watches, manage activities, save structured schedules, lock states, and push clear summaries to chat. Built to make camp procedure fast, readable, and reusable.
Marching Order Management
Organize formations with drag-and-drop positioning, rank structure, and travel context tools that support movement doctrine, visibility of party order, and cleaner expedition play.
Torchlight & Visibility Tracking
Marching torchlight supports per-actor Bright and Dim light ranges with persistence and chat/export visibility, helping the party treat light discipline as part of expedition structure instead of an afterthought.
Operations Layer
Manage party roles, readiness, communications, upkeep, supply pressure, reputation, faction pressure, injury scaffolding, recovery structure, and downtime support through one operational framework.
GM Control + Player Transparency
Keep operational control in the GM layer while still producing clean player-facing summaries, briefings, and structured chat outputs that make party logistics visible at the table.
Loot Workflow & Persistent Records
Generate horde, enemy, and encounter loot with preview and reroll tools, then apply results to actors, loot sheets, or chat, backed by persistent journal-style records and archives.
Integration & Persistence
- World-state persistence across sessions
- DAE / flag sync workflows for broader module compatibility
- Recovery from stale or missing ActiveEffect integration references
- Console API access for automation and macros via
game.partyOperations... - Compendium, journal, reporting, and structured UI support
- Quick-access launcher and organized operational views
Design Philosophy
Party Operations is not built to replace the GM or force a narrow rules model. It is built to give campaigns a stronger operational backbone: clear logistics, structured pressure, persistent party procedure, and better decision visibility for both GM and players.
Especially useful for:
- Expedition and wilderness campaigns
- Travel-heavy games
- Survival and supply-pressure play
- Military-style or disciplined party structures
- Faction pressure, readiness, and base operations
- Downtime-aware campaign management
Structured campaign management without heavy-handed rules enforcement.
Party Operations helps you run the group like an organized expedition, not a pile of disconnected notes.
