Map Note Hover Display
A single-purpose module that provides a HUD view of a map note's journal entry contents when hovered.
User enables the module via the eye icon in the Notes controls.
It provides some basic customization options in the settings, such as a light theme and a dark theme.
Original tooltip and label are hidden when note is hovered.
Content is rendered and positioned intelligently based on screen location.
Installation
To install, simply search for the module in the install module section of Foundry or copy the manifest url (https://github.com/lowkeyframe/map-note-hover-display-updated/releases/latest/download/module.json) from the module.json into the manifest URL of the same install module section.
Usage
Just install the package and then opt in for yourself in the settings. This package requires each user to opt in if they want to see the hover displays so that it's not annoying for those who don't need it.
There is now a button in the UI to turn the map hover on/off.
Module was first made by FriendlyLambda (thank you for your great work), I just used Claude AI to update to v13 and I will try to keep it alive (I have not credit on this project otherwise)
