Rootbound Rot is a 5e standalone adventure module for Foundry VTT, suitable for a group with an average player level (APL) of 1. It has been designed to serve as an independent short adventure spanning several sessions, or can be inserted into a pre-existing campaign by renaming several minor highlighted regions or characters!

" Once, Heartroot Hollow was a druidic sanctuary hidden beneath a twilight forest. When an exiled dryad named Corra Blightroot sought to prove her devotion to nature’s crueler cycles, she planted a cursed heart-root deep within the grove’s Wellspring. Now enormous brambles choke the halls, the druids are lost or corrupted, and the hollow teeters on the brink of collapse.
The adventurers must uncover what happened, learn how to perform a cleansing ritual, and finally summon Corra to defeat her once and for all, restoring the Wellspring and freeing the hollow."
