"Several weeks ago, an ambitious dwarven warlock named Ickthir stole a profane tome from his master, and sequestered himself in the topaz tunnels - a mine renown for yielding the eponymous gemstones. From this new lair, Ickthir sought to transcend his mortal form using one of the forbidden fleshcraft rituals in the stolen tome, filling his body with eldritch strength and opening his mind to the impossible unknowable knowledge of the outer entities.
Unfortunately, the book's rituals were far beyond Ickthir's abilities - but not his confidence to attempt performing them. The ritual backfired terribly, and the powers of eldritch flesh were bestowed not upon Ickthir, but the chamber from which he performed the ritual. In an instant, the arrogant apprentice was reduced to little more than a mote of flesh, absorbed by the newly-living caverns.
Now, vile power slowly creeps from the living caverns, as some ancient awareness instilled in the rock tries to exert a malevolent influence. Villagers have started to go missing, and people speak in blank tones and vacant expressions about the mountain."

All maps contain walling, dynamic lighting, local sounds, and canopies where relevant to a map. Many of our map packs contain third-party modules to add additional tactics and dynamic play, these include:
Levels allows instant transitions between floors, or moving your token on top of canopies, creating vertical elevation on a map! |
Mass Edit allows drag-and-drop pre-fab buildings and modular dungeons, as well as helping create dynamic environment changes! |
Tile Scroll lets us create moving tiles and canopies, adding scrolling or rotation to static images to create more dynamic animated maps! |
