One-Click Dungeon Generation:
Generate a complete dungeon layout in seconds. Instant Dungeons creates rooms, corridors, walls, doors, and scene setup automatically, giving you a playable map immediately instead of a rough sketch you still need to finish by hand.
Generator Controls:
Shape the dungeon before you commit. Adjust room count, density, branching, room size, symmetry, floor style, background color, wall thickness, token vision, entry direction, terrain, and seed. Reopen the generator later and it remembers the scene’s generation settings, so you can keep iterating instead of starting over from generic defaults.
Terrain Underlays:
Generated dungeons can now sit on top of a terrain surface instead of an empty background. Choose terrain during generation, repaint or erase it later in the Editor Tool, and use either dedicated terrain textures or regular tiles from built-in or custom packs as the terrain surface.
Dungeon Editor:
Generated maps are only the beginning. Use the built-in Editor Tool to paint, erase, extend, and reshape dungeons directly on the canvas. Build from scratch, modify an existing layout, place doors manually, repaint terrain, place room objects, and let walls rebuild around the geometry you create.
Built-In Asset Packs and Custom Assets:
Use the included built-in packs or load your own assets through the Asset Manager. You can choose floor, wall, door, terrain, and object assets for generation and editing, including support for importing Dungeondraft asset packs.
Room Objects and Furnishing:
The core pack now includes a starter library of placeable room objects, including beds, bookshelves, shelving, seating, containers, desks, altars, lighting, and other useful pieces. Furnish rooms manually in the Editor Tool, or use the new Populate Rooms option to automatically place a first pass of furniture during generation. Generated objects remain editable afterward.
Automatic Walls and Interactive Doors:
Every generated dungeon comes fully walled using native Foundry Wall documents. Doors are placed automatically at transitions, with proper interaction, lighting behavior, and immediate compatibility with exploration play.
Foundry-Native Integration:
Dungeons are configured automatically for play, including grid setup, token vision support, fog behavior, native walls, and scene thumbnails. The module is designed to feel like a part of Foundry, not a separate map exporter.
Integrates with my Sci-Fi Module:
Instant Dungeons integrates with my Sci-Fi module, allowing you to generate sites and dungeons in bases, planets, and moons as you explore the galaxy.
System-Agnostic:
Whether you run D&D, Shadowdark, Pathfinder, Mothership, OSE, or your own homebrew system, Instant Dungeons focuses on map generation and scene usability, not ruleset lock-in.
