What's included:
- (1) 6400 x 3600 pixel battle map at 200 ppi, with grid overlay set to 200 x 200 pixels.
- (1) overlay tile to hide a secret room, already placed in the scene.
- (4) overlay tiles to add the illusion of elevation when tokens move beneath them.
- (5) tokens, designed to compliment this module (giant spider, spider, swarm of spiders, rat, and swarm of rats), already placed in the scene, with their 5th Edition statistics pre-compiled in their actor!
- (4) 4K resolution art images of the scene, compiled in a journal entry.
- (4) regions pre-defined on the map that will trigger the scene art (mentioned above) to display to the player(s) who entered the corresponding tile. Your player will instantly see the scene from their character's perspective, adding depth and immersion to their adventure!
- (1) scene file containing all lighting, wall, tile and region controls. Just drop your players' tokens at the entrance and you're off!
Design Notes:
This content pack was designed with low level and/or novice players in mind. However, it can easily be adjusted to serve higher level players by simply adding more of the included enemy tokens, or using your own higher level enemy tokens.
- This module leverages the new Foundry VTT "Scene Regions" functionality to trigger the display of journal images to your players. These regions can be disabled if you prefer to control the display of the artwork.
- At its deepest depth, the pool that fills the room is about three feet deep. Adjust your players' movement (such as a difficult terrain modifier) accordingly.
- Care has been taken to include elements such as skeletal remains, broken pottery, barrels, weapons, scrolls, etc. in the battle map to inspire a more fully fleshed out background story. The only limit is your imagination!
