Development on this module doesn't stop after the initial release, the following is still on our roadmap:
Known issues set to be fixed in the next update
- The Drakenbergen and Septentrion Scenes names will be updated;
- A Thousand Faces in Human form Tokens will be updated;
- Beta markers will be removed;
- Improved readability of styled texts on dark backgrounds;
- The recent upgrade of the 5E System will allow us to better integrate many features, for a much smoother experience:
- Backgrounds will be automated and added to the “Add Background” interface;
- Species will be automated and added to the “Add Species” interface.

- Popup after installing the module allowing you to easily import selected items into your campaign, so you don't have to manually do this from the compendium;

The first Fateforge Tetralogy (Augmented 5E)
The Fateforge Tetralogy contains the content from the first four books of the Fateforge series: Adventurers, Grimoire vol. 1, Creatures vol. 1 and Encyclopedia vol. 1. With over 1400 pages of content that won the silver ENNIE for Best Writing in 2022, this package offers you countless options to start playing 5E, or develop your existing game.
What is Fateforge?
Fateforge is a self-contained RPG powered by an augmented 5E ruleset. If you are already a 5E player, these books offer a multitude of options and additional rules to create and play characters, as well as a new campaign setting: Eana.
Following the sword & sorcery tradition, the adventurers will travel through grandiose landscapes and interact with exotic, colorful civilizations. By dint of skill, bravery, or cunning, they will overcome increasingly challenging ordeals, and perhaps find their way to the mythical Fateforge and ascend to godhood.
With the setting of Eana, we wanted to bring a set of colorful and consistent world full of bright civilizations, and diverse characters. One of our main objectives was to step away from the tropes of classic fantasy, where orcs and other 'greenskins' are brutish and inherently evil. Here, for example, orcs have cultures of their own, including pacifistic ones like the Iruul orcs, while hobgoblins have a thriving culture of trading. You will find many fresh ideas, as well as fresh takes on beloved classics, tying it all into a cohesive whole.
The Modular System
Fateforge makes use of a modular system that lets each leader define the atmosphere they wish to create for their stories through five categories: Action, Dark, Gritty, Intrigue, and Mystery. Each of the symbols indicates related optional rules. In addition to these symbols, others are included throughout the books: Awakening, Dragon, and Elusive Magic. They cover a variety of optional playstyles and variant game mechanics.
All Fateforge books are designed as toolboxes for leaders to adapt the game to their favorite style. Countless stories can be told in the heroic fantasy genre, and each table has their own favorite flavor. We give you the tools to easily blend that flavor into your game.

Adventurers is the core rulebook of the Fateforge series. It is intended for the use of both players and leaders, and is composed of three parts:
Character Creation
In conjunction with your game leader, determine the conditions in which your character may Awaken to magic, and choose from a plethora of options: nine playable species, eighteen civilizations, a step-by-step guide to creating your very own background, thirteen classes— including the scholar, a resourceful savant capable of contributing in every situation, even in regions devoid of magic—and many more archetypes, as well as a list of original feats to enhance the evolution of your hero.
Daily Life
Discover the mythic Free City and a body of dedicated rules to spice up the daily lives and journeys of adventurers. Mystery, exploration, and discovery form the core of the gaming experience. Answer the call of adventure and travel to faraway lands, whether by foot, by boat, or by nefelytron!
Game Rules
The game mechanics are organized into four categories: abilities, adventuring, combat, and health. Many optional rules are included, following a modular system that lets each leader define their own gaming style.

This chapter details geomagic—the study of localized magic activity—and its fascinating manifestations, which directly influence the area they affect.
Corruption
Beware the perils of corruption, this rampant evil that transforms the body and mind of whoever is exposed to it. The powers it offers are tempting, but the risk of a monstrous downfall is very real!
Spells
More than 360 spells, including many original ones, will allow you to explore all the aspects of magic, from powerful but demanding conjuration spells to dreadful corrupt spells.
Appendices
Several game aids go over the core knowledge of any student of the arcana, or give compiled information on spells. This part of the book also covers the use of scrolls and provides a list of common potions of Eana.
