In the middle of a sea of ashes, where dunes raise high enough to block the sun, amidst ruins of decayed splendor and broken domes of mithral, stands a lonely, misshaped tower of ivory and gold. Its halls crumble under the weight of the eons. The luster of its golden inlays is now tarnished by time and war. Even the most polished marble eventually turns to dust. But celestials…are another breed. More resilient than steel, more polished than marble. What is not mortal cannot die, for better and for worse. Their body does not decay, yet insanity slowly, very slowly creeps into their addled mind. In a feverish, centuries-long attempt to reclaim their lost place in the higher planes, their experiments became more and more desperate. Their theories, more and more putrid. As their tower crumbled, so did their morals and soul. Few are the adventurers strong enough to ascend the tower and face its four-winged occupants. Even fewer the ones able to defeat their queen and bring their reign of terror to an end. You were among these few, and so you braved the ash dunes towards the Soulful Tower.

By default, the tower is in its Dormant state. To fully activate the beacon on the last floor, you must reveal the "Ritual" tile by right clicking it and selecting "Unhide".
