Depths Master Emulator
A system-agnostic solo and GM-less storytelling toolkit for Foundry VTT. DMEmu helps you answer scene questions, invent people and places, and keep a living compass for the plot—without tying you to a specific game system.
This first release is a near-complete Foundry implementation of the core Plot Unfolding Machine and Game Unfolding Machine workflows. Future versions will expand the module further and take more liberties with the systems as the Foundry experience evolves.
What you get
Oracle — Yes/no questions with perspective and likelihood, Grand prompts (Action / Adjective / Subject), and enrichment draws for description, story, and quantity.
Generators — Prompt tables for game seeds, factions, locations, objects, adversaries, creatures, and characters. Combined rolls post a single chat prompt you can adapt on the fly.
Plot Sheet — Campaign journals (universe, protagonists) that own one or more plot sheets (scope, mission, nodes, optional track, beats). Progress is yours to confirm when a beat actually mattered.
DMEmu Guide — An in-world journal that walks through how the pieces fit together.
Chat visibility is a client setting (only you, GMs, or everyone).

Inspired by Plot Unfolding Machine and Game Unfolding Machine by JeansenVaars. DMEmu adapts those approaches for Foundry; it is not an official PUM/GUM product and does not redistribute their booklets.
