
Hag's Lair
Central to this map is a hanging cage made of gnarled dried wood. A mass of twisting vines and branches shaped like a clawed hand dangles the cage over a seemingly endless chasm. The hag cackles, reveling in the joy of seeing your loved ones so close to death as your heroes try to figure out the best way to rescue them.
The map is intended to create a natural and dangerous battlefield where spells and arrows are slung across the chasm while your melee characters try to close in over the rotted and moss-covered log acting as the only bridge.
If your players get close enough, the hag will retreat to their inner sanctum, guarded by vile magics that bar the door. If your heroes manage to break in, they will find the coven conducting their foul magic through the large central bubbling cauldron. Various potions, pultices, and elixirs bubble with their strange contents, and a trail of cookie crumbs can be found near two more cages inside. One of the cave walls is flickering with dozens of candles mounted on the various skulls of their victims now on display like grisly trophies.

Hanging Cage w/ Central Chasm
Perfect for a rescue mission! Ramp up the challenge by having one of the hags light the cage on fire and create a timer for how long your party has to rescue their friend. -
Battlefield Hazards
Slippery rocks, endless chasms, and a moss-covered log as the only means to cross all work against your players while the hags release their vile magics -
Guardian Door
A seemingly fragile wooden door seems to be blocked by a sort of powerful magic. A carved face in the stone laughs and mocks your party as they attempt to break through. Perhaps they can appeal to the humanity of the stone's twisted visage of the poor soul trapped here to open the door? -
Hag's Inner Sanctum
A large bubbling cauldron, additional cages, potions, and alchemic ingredients, and a wall of skulls and candles haunt this lair of a dangerous coven of hags.
