Death Ledger
Death Ledger keeps a world-based graveyard of PC deaths: date, player, character, and how they died. When HP crosses to zero, or you hit the sheet button, a prompt opens for the player or gm to fill in. Everyone can open the ledger to see the deaths from a button on the Journal directory header.
System-agnostic. Works with any game that exposes HP on actors.
Features
- Auto-prompt when configured actor types cross from HP > 0 to HP ≤ 0
- Sheet button for deaths that are not HP-based
- Shared ledger ApplicationV2 from the Journal directory header
- Leaderboard tab: characters lost per player, death counts, and GM kills total, with deduplicated kill notes shown one per line
- Character dropdown with player auto-fill from ownership
- Everyone can view, owners and GMs add or edit, only GMs delete
- Optional custom webhook: on-demand Share, plus optional auto POST/PATCH/DELETE (off by default)
- Optional Discord Incoming Webhook: on-demand Share, plus optional auto on create (off by default)

Settings
- `hpPath` and `actorTypes` for your system (sensible defaults for common setups)
- `autoPrompt` on/off
- `flavor`: Auto / Neutral / Pirate Borg
- `webhookUrl`, optional `webhookToken`, and `webhookAuto` for a custom/API webhook
- `discordWebhookUrl` and `discordAutoShare` for Discord Incoming Webhook Share
Compatibility
- Foundry VTT v13–v14
- Any game system with an actor HP path
- Logging a death does not mutate the actor
