Altars and Shrines [30x40]- 12 Variants of 6 Unique Maps
1. Shrine to Justice
A pristine marble altar stands at the center of the classical city, flanked by statues and surrounded by offerings. A statue of a blindfolded figure holding a sword looms above, exuding an aura of unwavering authority and fairness.
2. Altar to a Lovecraftian Eldritch God
Huddled in a collapse cave, the eerie stone altar, covered in ancient, cryptic runes, lies dormant. The heart of the ancient being lost, awaiting a foolish adventurer, power-hungry mage, or madly-driven scientist to return it. Once placed in front of it, dark tentacles writhe and emerge, oozing an aura of madness and cosmic horror.
3. Jungle Shrine
A burst of colors emerges once you make it through the dense and unhospitable jungle. This massive shrine painted with care and decorated with awe and fear maybe hold secrets...and treasures! Be weary however, both of mechanisms spread around, and of the fauna, that just seems a bit...too alive.
4. Celestial Shrine
A radiant, alabaster altar bathed in soft, heavenly light, and made with gold. The heavens surround the statue of the Celestial Archon, and if your prayers are accepted, the heavens themselves open. Cherubs and Seraphs descent to grant you power and blessings...or to fight and repel you, in case you tried to corrupt the holy shrine!
5. Hellish Altar
A sinister altar made of blackened stone, surrounded by a glowing, blood-red ritual circle. Dozens of unblinking eyes adorn its surface, watching every move with malevolent intent. The sacrificed and tortured souls are scattered around it, a testament to its diabolical origin.
6. Seelie and Unseelie Mushroom Shrine
A whimsical shrine formed from luminous mushrooms. During the day it is bright and inviting, with glowing blue fungi, while once darkness creeps up it becomes dark and foreboding, covered in shadowy, pulsating spores, blood oozing from its roo
