Bring the Environment to Life
Chef’s Hazards transforms Foundry Regions into animated, interactive environmental threats for D&D 5e. Draw a Region, add the Create Hazard behavior, and choose from ten hazard types:
- Acid Pool
- Alcohol
- Electrified Water
- Fire
- Ice
- Mud
- Oil
- Poison Cloud
- Toxin
- Water
Dynamic Battlefield Interactions
Hazards respond naturally to tokens, damage, and their surroundings. Fire and poison apply native D&D 5e conditions, ice calls for a Dexterity saving throw, and mud doubles movement cost. Water becomes electrified when struck by lightning, while alcohol and oil ignite when exposed to fire.
These interactions allow hazards to evolve during combat, turning otherwise static terrain into an active part of the encounter.
Important: The full-screen visual effects demonstrated in the video require Chef’s Condition Screen FX to be installed and enabled. Chef’s Hazards works independently, but those additional screen effects will not appear without it.
