Trigger Automated Animations based on item names in chat, making it compatible with any system.
Usage
The module triggers animations configured in Automated Animations using the item name in chat messages as the trigger.
In other words, whenever the name of an item with a compatible animation appears in the chat, the animation will be played.
Therefore, any system that outputs the item name to the chat when used will trigger the animation.
The same applies if a user manually types the item name in the chat, such as in a scene description. The trigger can also be limited to combat turns.
Equip Macro (beta)
A macro function that allows triggering an animation based on an equipped item.
This is designed for systems that do not automatically post item names in the chat, which prevents the standard animation trigger from working.
The macro generates a customizable chat message (e.g., "{attacker} attacks {target} with {item}") that can trigger the animation when the item name is not otherwise present.
📖 You can run the macro via game.AAFA.runEquipMacro(); to easily trigger animations in any system. The module comes with a ready-to-use macro in the Compendium.
