AutoFollow / AutoUnfollow
Lets tokens follow each other, and automatically stops following when combat starts or a character teleports. This is a standalone, Foundry v14 compatible module: it now includes the full feature set built in, so it no longer requires (and in fact replaces) the original Follow Me! module, which does not work on v14.
Features
- Follow a target: select your tokens, hover the leader, press F, and they trail along behind
- Stop following on demand: select the followers and press Shift+F
- Optional snap-to-grid, orient-to-direction, and wall-collision handling for followers
- Automatically disables following when combat starts
- Automatically disables following when a token teleports (configurable distance)
- Toggle every behavior from a world settings menu (GM only)
- Optionally notify the GM when auto-unfollow is triggered
Controls
- F : selected tokens follow the hovered token
- Shift+F : selected tokens stop following
Both keys are rebindable in Configure Controls.
Installation
Use the following Manifest URL in the Foundry VTT Add-on Modules screen:
If you have the original Follow Me! installed, disable it. This module replaces it and they will otherwise both bind the follow key.
Usage
Once installed and enabled, use F / Shift+F to follow and unfollow. You can configure all behavior via: Settings → Configure Settings → Module Settings → Auto Unfollow for Follow Me!
Dependencies
- None. Follow Me! is no longer required.
