This is the Foundry VTT system for the Greek tabletop roleplaying game, ANDRAGATHEMA.
Game terminology:
- Heroes: Player Characters, or PCs.
- Secondary characters: Non-player Characters, or NPCs.
- Judge: The Game Master, or GM.
Localization
- The system is available in English (default) and Greek/Ελληνικά (may be chosen in the options). As the game itself has only been published in Greek, Greek remains the recommended choice, while the English localization is subject to constant review and change.
Hero sheet
- Hero creation with the robust point-buy system, using a streamlined GUI.
- The total of experience points is determined by the Judge.
- When hero creation is finished, the Judge should lock the hero sheet. At this point, no stats can be lowered and no experience points can be returned. If a mistake was made, the Judge can unlock the sheet.
- Clicking any of the numbers shown on the record tab rolls a die with the relevant bonus.
Secondary characters
- Secondary characters are not bound by the experience limits of heroes.
- The stats of secondary characters can be displayed as target numbers (the game default) or modifiers, using a toggle.
- The stats of secondary characters displayed on the token tooltip (see below) can be hidden from players with a toggle.
Equipment general
- Item sheets use a simple GUI and are easy to set up.
- Basic item types with unique sheets: Weapons, Armor, Ammunition, Miscellaneous equipment, Miscellaneous stackable, Spells.
- Shields are treated as weapons by the system.
- Light shields are distinguished by having the Light Weapon property checked.
- Strictly missile weapons such as bows should have the Missile Weapon property checked.
Equipment tab
- Weapons (including shields) and ammunition in the quick slots or the shield slot can be displayed on the token by right-click, or by using the toggle in their respective sheets.
- Weapons must be placed in the quick slots (or the shield slot) to be shown on the record screen.
- Shields must be worn in the shield slot to provide their Defense bonus.
- Armor must be worn in the torso slot to provide its Toughness bonus.
- Torches that are equipped to be displayed on the token automatically shed light (the standard duration of 1 hour can be adjusted in the settings)
Magic tab
- The magic tab is greyed out for anyone without access to magic.
Effects
- Effects can be shown on the token by using the relevant checbox.
- Right-clicking an effect deactivates it without deleting from the sheet, as does the relevant checkbox.
- Effects can be placed on items to create magic or unique items. If the property "equipment" is checked, the item must be placed in an equipment slot for the effect to be active. Otherwise, the item provides the effect passively even in the general inventory.
Token tooltips
- These can be turned on or off in the settings. If the Judge wants to hide a secondary character's stats from the players, he should use the relevant toggle in the secondary character's record screen (see above).
Token movement
- Token walking speed varies with the character's Speed score (grid spaces/second calculated assuming the character taking a double-move).
New actor types
- "Container" actors can be placed on the world to serve as ... containers, be it chests, crates, whatever. They have an inventory screen and players can drag and drop items to their characters, as long as they "own" the container actor.
- "Notes" actors can have written notes that show on their tooltip. They shouldn't be owned by players, because they have a secret property: Any text written after a double slash "//" is hidden from the tooltip, where only GMs and GM-assistants may view it. This provides a quick way for the Judge to access notes without having to open any windows.
