Alter Ego gives Game Masters and Players the ability to switch between multiple token images for any actor during gameplay.
Only Game Masters can set the table of images.
When you configure an actor, you can set up different images for different forms or states - a human and werewolf form, a healthy and wounded appearance, a disguised identity, or elemental transformations. During play, simply click the token and press a button to cycle through these images instantly.
The module automatically handles token resizing when switching between forms - atiny pixie can grow into a huge giant, or ababy dragon can transform into an ancient wyrm that fills a 4×4 grid space.
Optionally:
You can also add visual effects to transformations using Sequencer and JB2A (both optional) or a custom effect. The selected effect plays at the token's location, automatically scaled to match the new size.
