As part of the announcement we made on our community discord server, for the month of June we chose to donate all proceeds from our Patreon to The Trevor Project, a charity which provides crisis services and peer support for LGTBQIA+ youth. We are extremely pleased to announce that June was one of our largest months of Patreon income so far, between pride month, the V12 Patreon feature vote, and the launch of the Crucible game system playtest.

We believe that the online TTRPG community has often been a place to find acceptance and escape from day-to-day aggression, and that the continued ability to find acceptance in a peer group through role-playing games can make a crucial difference in the lives of those struggling to find that acceptance elsewhere. The cause of the LGBTQIA+ community is one that the Foundry VTT team finds personally important. By helping us support The Trevor Project you are helping to provide life-saving resources, counseling, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ youth. We believe that this donation marks a clear demonstration that ours is a community where people can feel safe.
